Werefrenzy: The ritual

Third place on reload magazine's gamejam!
The time has come, each year a bunch of the best wolves are chosen to go to the infamous redhood's house and try to go eat one of their kids.
The inscriptions are open, so eveyone who feels capable to achieve the task can join the trial.
You got challenged by your friends that you are not wolf enough to join the ritual and eat redhood yourself.
When you ask what would they give you if you win the challenge, one of them says "what about a date with my mom?"
they all laugh and few jokes later they are like, ok let's do this.
The wolf sign in the challenge, the deed is set.
Everyone go home now! The fight starts at midnight, so no killing before time!
You go home and wait until midnight for your time to shine....

An entry for Reload magazine minigamejam, done within 10 days, using EFPSE engine.
The theme was "Fairytales with a twist, or gory style", so I thought what about the redhood story, but you're another wolf preparing to enter the cabin?
I tried to catch the style of games from the late 80's early 90's, i may have overdone the retro/lofi/8bit/pixelart style, but i'm still sastified with the current result.

1- Download the rar file.
2-Extract the rar file.
3-Double click on "Game.exe"
4-Enjoy!
Ps: There's another rar file included in addition to the game, but it is password protected. The password is within the game, so don't worry about it at first.

Nice game =)
Another minor update, just extended one of the soundtracks, as I thought one of the songs was too short, and literally unfinished. Other than that, everything remains the same.
I didn't wanted to create a devlog for this, so i'm using the comments section instead.
Made a minor update on goodies rarfile.
It just happened that I found the original, unedited raw samples I recorded with the mic. FL Studio made a backup of them, so thought it would be cool to share the unedited sounds as well.
The game remains unedited, so no changes there.
If you don't care about the goodies, then feel free to ignore the update. And if you do care, the password remains the same, so no need to replay the whole thing to listen to these sounds.
Other than that, everything else remains the same, so that's it.

Just so you know, did an update minutes ago, with the melee wolfos being more forgiving, now they do 5 damage, instead of 20, so players should have a better chance at fighting them and surviving without the need of dodging their attacks!
