Minor hotfix regarding meleewolfos
O hai people!
Just wanted to make a small post to inform you all that i've made a minor hotfix for this game.
Basically, after receiving some feedback from testers, decided to drastically tone down the damage received by players from meleewolfos about 75% less.
Basically, now you receive aprox. 5 damage per hit, instead of 20.
The original idea was for players to attack, then dodge their attack by running backwards a bit, then come back to attack again, and repeat.
Since i've modded doom for 15 years, i've got used to that pattern, since that's how you can kill pinkies with fists.
But, if you're not a doom player, that mechanic wouldn't be entirely intuitive.
And since i've finetuned their reaction times, well, that was proven to be difficult.
So, yeah, made the melee monsters a bit easier, now, you don't even need to dodge the attacks to survive!
Although yeah, it's not my original vision, I do believe it may end up for a funnier experience, since the main focus of the game was the story, regardless of how silly it was.
I don't know if i'll make a future postjam update like i've did on geohitman, i am currently busy on other projects, but that's a story for another day.
Also, one more thing: The game includes a rar file called "somegoodies.rar", it is password protected.
Don't worry, you'll find the code inside the game, and the game will make it very obvious when the code is given to you.
