A downloadable game for Windows

You're a new hired hitman, you needed the money, but you hate killing people, so you decided to create a homemade drug in an attempt to make your job easier.

It works!

Now, all of your targets looks like geometrical shapes, which makes things easier for you, but there's a catch.
Of course, whatever the things you put on the syringe, made it poisonous, so your health is slowly draining down second by second.

So, you create an antidote and plan to use it, but whabam!
A phonecall, you got your first target ever, and it needs to be killed asap!

Sooo, you save the antidote for later and you go guns blazing though the building.
You better kill the target quickly before the poison (or your enemies bullets) kills you.

PS: Also, kill things to gain back health.

An entry for Reload magazine X In the keep minigamejam, done within 60 hours, using EFPSE engine.

The entry required to have an unique health mechanic, so i came up with this idea =P

This game offers 8 levels, a tutorial, 6 enemies, 3 weapons (two of them upgradeable) and a bunch of fast-paced frenzy!
Ah, yeah. It also offers 3 optional skill settings, plus a secret skill setting =P
It modifies monsters behaviour, healing values and even monsters placements,

>Hard is the default skill, but you can pick normal or easy, in case you want to memorize the layout for the hardcore challenge, have a more fair fight or just enjoy the story.

Or go into nightmare mode, if you can find it that is :P

This is my first gamejam entry ever, and also fist itch.io post ever, so I hope you enjoy this thing =P

Thanks!

Yeah, it was mostly a byproduct of dealing with a 4 day limit during the jam.
I rushed the art as much as I could, and came up with the "homemade injection" as an excuse for both the health drain and the silly artstyle.

I had no time limit for the sequel, but decided to embrace the silly artstyle and expand upon the same style, building more characters, like a snake built of a bunch of circles or a mashup of geometrical shapes to make a tank-like enemy.

I don't consider myself a decent artist, but I like to draw stuff once in a while, so I just thought, why not?
It was a "side-have fun" type of project. (I barely have any Itch uploads, but I have lotsa stuff on moddb)

Now that I became an uncle, I want to do the kind of stuff that could inspire my nephew to do stuff.

The sequel is still unfinished (got busy with a steam game I was hired to program) but at least a demo is available.
